This Privacy Policy explains what information Source Code Stack ("we", "us", or "our") collects when you use our website and services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to operate the Service, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Account details — your email address, an optional name, and — if you sign in with Google or GitHub — the basic profile information those providers share.
  • Transaction records — orders, credit balance and history, subscription status, and payment metadata. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Tool usage — which tools you run and their results, so we can meter credits, show your history, and improve the Service.
  • Technical and security data — IP address, device and browser information, approximate location, and security events such as sign-ins, used to keep your account safe and prevent abuse.

Images stay on your device

When a tool analyses a product image, that analysis runs entirely in your own browser. Your image is not uploaded to our servers — only the resulting selection (for example, a detected category) is sent to complete your request.

How we use your information

  • to deliver your purchases, credits, subscriptions, and tool results;
  • to operate your account and provide customer support;
  • to process payments, prevent fraud, and secure the Service; and
  • to send you transactional messages such as receipts, download links, and security notices.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.

Service providers

We share limited data with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service:

  • Razorpay — payment processing. Your card details are handled by Razorpay under its own privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security.
  • Google / GitHub — optional single sign-on, if you choose to use it.
  • Google Fonts — web fonts, which may involve a request to Google when a page loads.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, and remember preferences such as your light/dark theme. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see below).

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your profile at any time from your account, and you can request access to, or deletion of, your personal data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, transaction records for accounting).

Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed credentials, optional two-factor authentication, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond promptly to any issue.
