Blue Coins — value, uses, and expiry

Blue Coins are the platform currency for Source Code Stack. They power the metered seller tools and can be put toward any ebook or digital product. One Blue Coin is worth ₹1.

How you get Blue Coins

• Free to start — new accounts receive a few Blue Coins to try every tool.
• Packs — buy a one-time pack from the pricing page. Larger packs cost less per coin.
• Subscriptions — every plan includes a set number of Blue Coins each billing period.
• Referrals — when someone you referred buys their first pack, you earn a percentage of it in Blue Coins.

What you can spend them on

• Seller tools — most tools cost 1 Blue Coin per successful run. Some are free: the profit calculator, the order-CSV summary, and Fixed QR codes (only Trackable QR codes, with a hosted editable link and analytics, use coins).
• Ebooks and digital products — at checkout you can apply Blue Coins toward the price and pay the remainder by card, UPI, or netbanking. If your coins cover the whole price, the order is completed immediately with no card payment.

Paying for a product with Blue Coins

1. Add products to your cart and open checkout.
2. Tick Use Blue Coins and choose how many to apply (up to your balance).
3. The order summary shows the coin discount and the amount left to pay.
4. Pay the balance through Razorpay — or, if coins cover it all, the order completes right away.

Coins are only charged when the order is paid. If a card payment is started but never completed, the coins are returned to your balance automatically.

Do Blue Coins expire?

• Subscription coins are an allowance for each billing period and reset when the period renews.
• Pack coins and referral coins stay valid for twelve months from the day you receive them.

Your account shows your balance and flags any coins expiring soon, so nothing lapses by surprise.

Good to know

• Blue Coins are prepaid, non-transferable, and hold no cash value outside the platform.
• All prices are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay.
• The coin value and tool costs can be adjusted by an admin; the current figures are always shown on the pricing page and on each tool before you run it.
